First Lady Sherill Wright-Brown is a devoted woman of faith, educator, ministry leader, and community servant whose life exemplifies grace, compassion, and unwavering dedication to God, family, and service. She is the daughter of Houston Wright Sr. and Elzena Wright and the beloved wife of Pastor Alvin D. Brown Sr., Pastor of Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church. Together, they have built a strong foundation rooted in faith, love, family, and ministry.

Sherill is the proud mother of four wonderful children: Ashley, Trenecia, Alvin D. Brown Jr. (“Lil Alvin”), and Jayden. Throughout more than twelve years of marriage, she has faithfully served as a loving wife, nurturing mother, and steadfast partner in ministry. For the past eight years, she has faithfully served as First Lady of Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church, working alongside her husband to strengthen both the church and the surrounding community through leadership, encouragement, and service.

In addition to her ministry work, Sherill is a passionate educator at Coffeeville Elementary School, where she is committed to inspiring, educating, and nurturing young minds. She views teaching not merely as a profession, but as a calling—one that allows her to help shape future generations while encouraging children to reach their fullest potential. Her dedication to education extends beyond the classroom as she continually seeks opportunities to positively impact the lives of her students and their families.

Within the church, Sherill serves as Praise Team Leader and Adult Bible Study Teacher, faithfully sharing biblical wisdom, spiritual guidance, and encouragement with those she serves. Through worship, teaching, and mentorship, she has become a source of inspiration and strength for many. Her life reflects humility, faithfulness, and a deep commitment to God's purpose, making her a shining example of Christian leadership within her church and community.

Sherill's greatest passion is women's ministry and empowering women of all ages and backgrounds. She is dedicated to encouraging, mentoring, and uplifting women as they navigate life's challenges, strengthen their faith, and discover their God-given purpose. She strives to create welcoming and supportive spaces where women can share their experiences, testimonies, struggles, and victories while finding healing, restoration, encouragement, and fellowship.

Through ministry, teaching, worship, and personal example, Sherill continues to impact lives by encouraging women, men, and families to live with faith, integrity, and obedience to God's will. Her heart for service, coupled with her commitment to spiritual growth and community outreach, has made her a respected leader and role model whose influence extends far beyond the walls of the church.
